Ugliest New Building

Philip Greenspun is building (no pun) a consensus that the new Harvard graduate student housing at One Western Ave is the worst new structure in our fair city.

Maybe somebody over there should have read some Christopher Alexander.

Enough with the rain

Anyone else getting mad at the rain? Its not raining hard enough to be considered a downpour, but its annoying as all heck.

However, I guess we should be happy its not snow. Speaking of which, boston.com has a fun game where you drive a snowplow through the streets of the Hub. Its here. Went to work late because I couldn’t get to the bonus round. At least its safe to play with ice and snow on my computer, unlike plane deicing.

Looks like Pedro will be talking to the Sox owners in the Dominican Republic. Wonder if they’re really going to talk to him, or just trying to expense a nice vacation before Christmas.

I’m king of the world!

Let it snow!

After a week of hellish travel, I’m back in Boston. Thank God. Not wanting to go on a political rant, but… I’m happy I live in a blue state, those red states scare the beejezus out of me. It is odd, however that I look forward to arriving at Logan. It’s not O’hare, but certainly is not one of the better airports in the world. Ever take a 5 am flight? I think they red-flag 50% of the passengers for the extended security check on early morning flights.

Echo

Where is everybody? Very quiet in here, guess you are all doing Christmas/Holiday shopping.

Boston Globe has a rundown of holiday specials/movies. Tomorrow night my personal favorite is on, the best part is the dancing.

Hope everyone is doing well. Go easy on the ‘nog, kids.

Short post.
