The Gates.

I took the $40 (round trip) Greyhound to New York and back yesterday to see The Gates. It was relatively easy (though a long day) and I am glad I went. Am sure the NYC blog has much more to say about it, but we are the next closest city to NY, so there ya go.

Now, I go back to the sheer unparalleled JOY which is job hunting. Anyone know of any good Boston based job sites I should try?

Some of the local job banks are quite good. The Womens’ Industrial and Educational Union used to have one right near the Public Garden that moved up toward the Symphony area. To find stuff about employers in a particular field in Boston, I’d go to the Kierstein Business Library, which is a special branch of the Boston Public Library in Downtown Crossing.

I went to Emerson, which has an excellent lifelong job placement service and a jobs library; if you know an Emerson grad they can take you as a guest.

Other U’s and Colleges may have same.

    Best of luck!
