Red Tide

The red tide has hit Massachusetts. What a bummer! It’s basically a kind of algae that makes shellfish poisonous. Clam and mussels are affected, but according to The Globe’s write-up crab, lobster, and shrimp are still safe. They also mention fish, incase you didn’t realize that shellfish means only fish with shells. I hope you did.

Looks like I dodged a bullet - I had clam chowder yesterday.
