Well, I guess its only fitting to do my first post while sitting on my couch trying to recover from a Friday night of music and Guinness. So, I’m Skadz, welcome to BOSTON.metroblogging. I’ve been living here in Boston for just about 11 years. Lived in lots of the different neighborhoods around town including Allston, Fenway, the North End, Jamaica Plain and now in the South End. I moved up from Long Island to Boston to go to BU. It was a short lived time there, but between making lots of friends and loving the city, I decided to stay.
I’m big in to music and friends with lots of the musicians around town. Usually on the weekends you will find me in a bar listening to some live music and kicking back. During the week, you’ll find me at Egenera being my normal geeky self. So, with those two things, you’ll probably hear me talking here about geek events and music events around town. You will also probably be punished by the bitching posts about the Red Sox. Yes, I became a huge Sox fan even being from New York. The things we do to torture ourselves.
So, I guess I’ll wrap up now, have a happy and safe 4th (though I’m not sure we’ll be public by then). Enjoy the Pops on the Esplande and the recovery day on Monday :)
