I never trust the post! Everyone always wants to be first, they should be more concerned about being correct.

I worry the most that Edwards will not have an impact on the swing states. Remember he didn’t win the south in the primaries against Kerry. I like the guy sure… but the critics who say he is an unproven leader are kinda right.

I think a lot of folks for whom Edwards was second choice (after Dean) are reinvigorated by this choice. It won’t change the mind of anyone who has already chosen Kerry or Bush, but will get the Dem grassroots working harder to get out the vote.
