The Perseid Meteor shower is this week. It’s going to be spectacular for all of Europe and Asia on Wednesday, over 200 an hour. The peak is here on Thursday, August 12th where the rate will be about 50 an hour, if you can get out of the urban areas. Any ideas where I could go and see it clearly?

i was in gloucester this weekend, stars galore. Plum island ( a beach actually) by newburyport is good too.
yeah, i’d recommend Plum Island (just a throw from newburyport). Not a lot of city lights there though parking is a bitch.
