One of my very favorite things is the ride on the train over the Charles every morning. Sometimes it’s sunny, sometimes not, but it always lovely to get a grand view of the city first thing every day. I love the fact that water is so available here.
Anyway, not much of a post. Just a “YAY, BOSTON!”

that is an excellent view of the city – another one, not commonly thought of, is driving up route 3 from braintree/quincy: there’s a spot where you come over a mini hill and just then you get this amazing glimpse of the skyscrapers in the distance with a good amount of forested area right in front of you. anyone else?

I know that view! A lovely one, indeed. I also like the view from my street in JP – I can see the very top of the Pru. Nice to feel like you are in the city, but also, well…NOT. :)
