Shakespeare on the Common

This year’s plug for Boston’s Free Shakespeare on the Common. Shows run for another ten days (to August 7th). This year is the 10th anniversary of free Shakespeare!

The common is a great place to sit and watch some quality Shakespeare – you won’t be disappointed! I caught the first act of Hamlet last night and it really was fantastic. Headlining the company is Jeffrey Donovan. You should definitely try to make it sometime before yet another great free bit of Boston summer entertainment finishes its run.

Oh yeah. The actor playing Hamlet’s ‘tired of him being a wuss,’ and wants to show the world a decisive man, which sounds like a monstrously silly idea to me.
