August 15, the Indian Independence Day, is celebrated in a mood of joy. It is a national holiday, with many festivities. For official celebrations in the morning, all educational institutions and government institutions are closed. It is a National holiday when it is commemorated the day in 1947 when India achieved freedom from British rule.
