Pretty sure it’s Boston Common. There’s the Common and the Public Gardens. While the Gardens are plural the Common is not. I get all itchy when I hear Commons because it makes me think of crappy dining hall food.

Ok, it’s really Public Garden, singular too…but it doesn’t make me as squeamish to hear it in the plural.
