Back in Los Angeles, a few years ago I discovered what had to be the mecca of record stores: Amoeba Records. The first time I stepped inside the front doors my jaw dropped at the mere sight of the rows upon rows of cds and all the different sections the store had. I learned that day that you should never, ever walk into Amoeba without a list, because otherwise you’ll be so overwhlemed by their selection you’ll forget what you went in for!

Can anyone suggest a cool, indie record store in or around Boston?? Not a newbury comics store or crap like that. Something that has a great selection and prices an unemployed graduate student can afford? If I get any suggestions, I promise to check ’em out and report back!
